Kämpabo

A Småland Farm with History

Kämpabo is a family farm in the countryside outside Anderstorp. The farm has been in the family for several generations and is located in a part of Småland where agriculture, small industry, and entrepreneurship have long lived side by side.

On the farm, Axel Ljungberg ran the leather industry Småländska Läder with around 40 employees. The industry made the farm a workplace for many people and connects Kämpabo to the area's long tradition of manufacturing and small business.

The District behind the Gnosjö Spirit

The Gnosjö Spirit is associated with enterprise and cooperation. To understand it, it is worth looking back at the work carried out by the area's waterways. During the 18th and 19th centuries, water power was used in small workshops for, among other things, forging and wire drawing.

The iron was processed into narrow blanks and then drawn into wire. The wire became the material for many everyday objects, and metalworking was often a complement to agriculture. During the end of the 19th century, small industry took up more and more space. This development can still be discovered at the Töllstorp Industrial Museum.

Today we welcome guests to Lillstugan. The accommodations are described on their own pages, where you can choose the option that suits you.
